Why Choose Hawkeye?
Ariane Hakizimana is busy on campus. She’s a Student Ambassador, a member of the International Student Organization, belongs to a sorority, and was once on the dance team. It’s hard to believe the native of Rwanda once considered herself shy.
“Hawkeye helped me become more social,” she said. “Before Hawkeye I was very shy and not open to others. Hawkeye has prepared me to go out and meet new people.
Ariane encourages all students, but especially those who are shy or introverted, to ask questions and get involved. It’s the best way to experience Hawkeye.
“The more people I met and became friends with, the more I felt at home,” she said.
